Job summary

Fluence seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale Battery Energy Storage System projects. You will manage schedules, budgets, risks, and communications across clients, contractors, and internal teams.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in industrial/power/energy or BESS projects with strong leadership, collaboration, and commercial acumen. Travel ~15% is expected.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of experience managing large-scale industrial, power, energy, or BESS projects.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and coordinating multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of large-scale BESS projects, managing scope, schedule, budget, and resources.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, procurement, logistics, construction, and commissioning.
• Serve as primary contact for clients, stakeholders, contractors, and internal teams.
• Track project performance, prepare status updates, and maintain visibility of deliverables.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, manage escalations, and support issue resolution.
• Ensure project documentation and compliance requirements are maintained.
• Travel approximately 15% for site visits and meetings.
