Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master's preferred.
• 5+ years of electrical engineering experience focused on BESS/renewables/power systems.
• Expert knowledge of BESS configurations, control strategies, and optimization software.
• Familiarity with NEC, IEEE, NFPA and utility interconnection standards.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for BESS engineering scopes and provide technical direction to project teams.
• Lead design and engineering of battery energy storage systems complying with contracts and AHJ.
• Review feasibility studies and sizing analyses to propose optimal BESS configurations.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and engineers to design, procure, install and commission BESS.
• Oversee system modeling, simulation, and analysis to optimize performance and reliability.
• Mentor junior engineers and stay current with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
