University of Colorado System Administration is seeking a Sr Production Support Professional to oversee batch processing, troubleshoot complex issues, and automate repetitive tasks. The role emphasizes scripting, documentation, and collaboration with development teams across CU’s system offices.

The position requires a solid IT foundation, Linux/UNIX experience, and the ability to work on an on-call schedule. This is a University Staff role with essential service responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Three years’ experience in a service desk, call center, data processing center or similar.
• Experience with batch processing and IT production services beneficial.

Responsabilités

• Support production batch processing, resolve daily issues and monitor processing.
• Develop automated processes to replace manual tasks.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and change control procedures.
• Support on-call rotation and provide expert assistance to production teams.
• Collaborate with development teams to assist in deployments and migrations.
