Job summary

CMS Controls Ohio is seeking a Level 2 Controls Service Technician to deliver advanced service, diagnostics, and optimization of BAS and HVAC control systems.

You will mentor Level 1 technicians, serve as primary technical contact for clients, and support commissioning and system upgrades. The role requires strong control logic knowledge, electrical skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years with Controls or HVAC service experience.
• Strong DDC control logic knowledge and programming fundamentals.
• Experience with 24VAC/120V/277V/480V electrical systems and motor controls.
• Familiarity with BAS platforms and industry protocols such as BACnet/Modbus/LON.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve complex BAS issues and network faults.
• Perform advanced system tuning, calibrations, and sequence verifications.
• Assist with commissioning and startup of BAS installations or upgrades.
• Mentor Level 1 Technicians and document service activities.
