Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior BAS Project Engineer in Little Rock, Arkansas to design and deliver building automation solutions for commercial, healthcare, and industrial facilities. You will develop control system designs, project documentation, and support field implementation to ensure systems perform as intended.

This role requires strong BAS/DDC experience, knowledge of HVAC controls, and familiarity with BACnet/Modbus.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing BAS/DDC for new or retrofit projects.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, controls sequences, and building operations.
• Ability to read mechanical, electrical, and controls drawings.
• Knowledge of BACnet, Modbus, or LonWorks communication protocols.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer BAS/DDC for new construction and retrofits.
• Develop sequences of operation and control strategies.
• Create control drawings, submittals, installation packages, and as-built docs.
• Review plans and coordinate controls integration with HVAC and mechanical systems.
• Support project managers and field technicians with engineering guidance.
• Assist startup, commissioning, and performance verification.
