Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior BAS Project Engineer in Little Rock, AR, to lead building automation design and project delivery for HVAC control systems. The role focuses on developing control system designs, documentation, and coordinating with field teams to ensure successful project execution.

Ideal candidates will design BAS systems, create sequences of operation, and support startup and commissioning activities on diverse commercial facilities.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, engineering, or implementing BAS/DCC.
• Strong HVAC systems knowledge and understanding of control sequences.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and controls drawings.
• Knowledge of BACnet, Modbus, or LonWorks communication protocols.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer BAS/DCC for new construction and retrofit projects.
• Develop sequences of operation and control strategies based on project requirements.
• Create control drawings, submittals, and installation packages.
• Generate bills of material and assist with equipment and controls selection.
• Review mechanical and electrical plans to ensure proper integration.
• Provide engineering support to project managers, programmers, and field technicians.
• Assist with system startup, commissioning, and performance verification.
• Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers during procurement.
• Contribute to engineering standards and continuous process improvements.
