Job summary

Jobot is seeking a highly experienced Permanent Senior BAS Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will design, integrate, and optimize Building Automation Systems (BAS) across multiple construction projects.

You will leverage Distech GFX, BACnet/LonWorks, Tridium Niagara, and HVAC expertise to deliver reliable, energy-efficient BAS solutions, coordinate with project teams, and lead testing and validation to ensure performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent BAS experience.
5+ years of designing and implementing Building Automation Systems.
Advanced proficiency with BAS platforms and integration including Tridium Niagara AX/N4, Distech GFX, Honeywell Spyder Tool, Johnson Controls CCT/PCT.
Experience with BACnet and LonWorks open protocols in complex control systems.
Solid understanding of HVAC systems and BAS integration.
Strong problem-solving skills with ability to resolve complex issues.
Excellent communication skills to explain complex concepts clearly.
Strong project management skills coordinating with teams and stakeholders.
Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and continuous learning.
Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

Design and implement BAS for construction projects.
Leverage expertise in Distech GFX, Honeywell Spyder Tool, LonWorks, and BACnet to develop solutions.
Coordinate with project teams to integrate BAS into design and execution.
Monitor and optimize HVAC systems using BAS.
Conduct system testing and validation to ensure reliability.
Provide technical guidance and support to teams and stakeholders.
Keep abreast of industry trends to drive continuous BAS improvement.
