Job summary

The Knox, Auberge Collection, Dallas, seeks a Lead Bartender to deliver exceptional beverage service and uphold the hotel’s cocktail program across outlets. This working leadership role guides Barback and Bar Prep teams while coordinating staffing, training, and beverage standards with management.

The ideal candidate has upscale hospitality experience and a strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and service standards, with flexibility for evenings and weekends in a luxury hotel setting.

Qualifications

• Prior experience bartending in upscale or luxury hospitality environments preferred.
• Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, spirits, and beverage service.
• Ability to direct Barback and Bar Prep workflows and coach team members

Responsibilities

• Provide polished, attentive bar service while setting the standard for hospitality and technical execution.
• Prepare cocktails and beverages accurately according to approved recipes and service standards.
• Maintain knowledge of beverages, menus, and pairings across outlets.
• Direct daily work of Barbacks and Bar Prep team members and monitor completion.
• Oversee cocktail batching, syrups, infusions, and garnishes for quality and consistency.
• Coordinate with management on staff scheduling and beverage program improvements.
• Monitor inventory, waste, and deliveries to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and alcohol-service guidelines.
