Job summary

Newrez in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Bankruptcy Case Manager III to efficiently manage complex bankruptcy accounts and advise on process improvements. You will review, audit, and guide BCMs while coordinating with litigation and loss mitigation teams to maximize recoveries within bankruptcy parameters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or extensive industry experience.
• 5+ years of mortgage bankruptcy experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in an environment with changing priorities.
• Excellent work ethic and attention to detail.
• Excellent computer and internet skills.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle complex bankruptcy accounts or increased caseloads.
• Receive, update and review bankruptcy information daily.
• Research accounts using PACER, AIS, trustee sites and internal systems.
• Prepare and file Transfers of Claim with the bankruptcy courts by deadlines.
• Track pre- and post-petition payments in the ILS system.
• Document all bankruptcy-related correspondence pertaining to collateral.
• Monitor payments per bankruptcy plan including trustee payments.
