Newrez LLC - Servicing is seeking a detail‑oriented Bankruptcy Case Manager II to handle complex bankruptcy accounts and rising caseloads. You will analyze information, review filings, and coordinate with trustees to maximize recovery within bankruptcy plans.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree and 2–4 years in mortgage bankruptcy or related legal services, with strong written and verbal communication and Excel skills. Training and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; 2–4 years in mortgage bankruptcy or related legal services.
• Experience with bankruptcy processes, claim filings, and court deadlines preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment.

Responsabilités

• Handle complex bankruptcy accounts or increased caseloads.
• Receive, update and review bankruptcy information daily.
• Research accounts using PACER, AIS, trustee sites and internal systems.
• Prepare and file Proofs of Claim and Transfers of Claim with bankruptcy courts by deadlines.
• Ensure proper post-petition payment tracking in the ILS system.
• Document all bankruptcy correspondence related to collateral.
• Monitor payments per bankruptcy plan, including trustee payments.
• Communicate with trustee or debtor's attorney to facilitate payments.
• Identify issues that may require legal action (plan/claim objections, motions).
• Coordinate with Litigation, Foreclosure, and Loss Mitigation teams.
• Perform discharge reviews to determine lien release requirements.
• Assist on special projects as needed by management.
