Job summary

BSI Financial Services in Irving, TX is seeking a Bankruptcy Specialist to manage a bankruptcy portfolio from filing through discharge in a hybrid work environment.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of bankruptcy experience, strong Excel/Word skills, PACER familiarity, and excellent communication. You will coordinate with attorneys, trustees, and investors to keep cases moving and compliant with procedures.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of related bankruptcy industry experience.
• Proficient with Excel and Word; PACER experience a plus.
• Strong problem solving, time management, and organization.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Receive, validate, and input bankruptcy notifications and update records.
• Review documentation for relevance and needed actions.
• Manage a bankruptcy portfolio through processes and queue management.
• Assess plan feasibility, mortgage modification mediation, and objections.
• Maintain compliance with bankruptcy procedures and internal policies.
• Coordinate with attorneys, trustees, and investors; follow hearings and discharges.
• Perform timely follow-ups to ensure files move without delays.
• Handle inbound/outbound calls related to bankruptcy matters.
