Langley Federal Credit Union is hiring a Senior Financial Service Representative to deliver exemplary service at our Norfolk-area branch. You will help members manage accounts, advise on products, and drive referrals while upholding compliance and security protocols.

Responsibilities include branch operations, coaching teammates, handling complex member inquiries, and supporting online banking. A four-year financial-services background and a Notary are preferred; a bachelor’s degree is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business management, finance, or related field; four years of experience in a financial institution or an equivalent combination.
• One year of financial institution experience is required; three years are preferred.
• Notary Public commission within six months of hire as a condition of continued employment.

Responsibilities

• Owns branch operational responsibilities, including opening/closing when leadership is unavailable.
• Mentors staff and provides on-site training.
• Handles security overrides to ensure transaction controls.
• Uses consultative selling to offer financial products and services meeting member needs.
• Assists with Online and Telephone banking education and troubleshooting.
• Records member interactions in CRM/DMS and educates on Langley products to drive referrals.
