Langley Federal Credit Union is hiring a Sr. Financial Service Representative to support our Peninsula floating team across Hampton, Newport News, Williamsburg and surrounding branches.

You will deliver exceptional service in person and over the phone, using consultative selling to tailor financial products for members’ needs and to boost engagement. You will handle account processing, loans, and everyday transactions, while mentoring staff and ensuring compliance with BSA/Patriot Act

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in business management, finance, or related field.
• One year of financial institution experience is required, and three years are preferred.
• Must have access to consistent, reliable transportation.

Responsabilidades

• Assumes operational responsibility for their assigned branch, including opening and closing procedures.
• Serves as a mentor and role model for staff, providing on-site training.
• Provides security overrides to other staff, ensuring adequate control of transactions.
• Assists other staff with escalated member situations.
• Uses consultative selling to offer financial products and services that meet members’ needs.
• Answers Contact Center calls as needed after cross-training.
• Processes new accounts, additional share types, and IRAs according to policy to ensure compliance with BSA and US Patriot Act laws.
• Processes consumer loan products and services, including personal, auto, home equity line of credit, and credit cards.
• Processes all types of transactions for members, including balance inquiries, transfers, payments, loan advances, account opening, and all other requests.
• Works on the teller line to assist as needed after cross-training.
• Assists members with all account and loan-related service needs, including offering financial advice.
• Assists with Online and Telephone banking, including enrollment, troubleshooting, and password resets.
• Records every member interaction using CRM and DMS tools.
• Educates members on Langley products and services, making referrals to internal business partners.
