Job summary

Kearny Bank is seeking a Sales Training Specialist to design, deliver, and continuously improve training programs across Retail Banking teams. The role focuses on outbound sales, client service, and relationship growth to drive profitability and client satisfaction.

The successful candidate will collaborate with Retail Sales leadership and product partners, utilize adult learning principles, and measure training outcomes to reinforce behaviors and revenue growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, education, organizational development or related field or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in retail banking and/or sales enablement and training required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Prior experience with an LMS strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated facilitation, coaching, and change management capabilities, with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver outbound sales and prospecting training programs for Retail Sales.
• Design and deliver client service and relationship growth training for branch staff.
• Align training programs with sales scorecards to support deposit growth and relationship expansion.
• Create and maintain training materials to reinforce product knowledge and processes.
• Develop structured training on prospecting, including community outreach and referral generation.
• Facilitate onboarding and ongoing skill development with coaching and feedback.
• Utilize LMS to administer training logistics and track learner progress.
• Analyze training outcomes and recommend improvements based on data.
