Job summary

East West Bank is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support Banking Operations through data analytics, process improvements, and large-scale projects. You will liaison between users, IT, and vendors, shaping requirements and validating solutions.

You will coach junior analysts and help drive operational excellence, with responsibilities spanning data reporting, system testing, and documentation. A strong background in banking analytics and leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5–7 years in banking analytics with knowledge of banking regulations.
• Experience in process automation design and implementation.
• Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-starter who can navigate a complex organization.
• Proficient in Excel and SQL; IBS Insight, LPS, SAP BI and Passport preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead with IT, 3rd party vendors and business users to design feasible technical solutions for medium to large projects.
• Lead and write business requirements and ensure delivery with IT/vendor teams.
• Design and perform system integration tests to verify interfaces and functionality.
• Manage project implementation and report progress to senior management.
• Identify opportunities for data report automation and collaborate with IT to implement.
• Conduct data analysis and generate management reports per user needs.
• Develop and implement optimized process flows to improve operational efficiency.
• Compile and maintain documentation for critical applications, reports and analytics processes.
• Provide coaching, support and training to other business analysts.
• Perform other business analytic tasks as requested.
