Job summary

Western Alliance Bank seeks a Senior Analyst – Analytics & Reporting to drive data-driven decision making across the organization. You will develop and maintain reporting solutions, analyze large datasets, and deliver actionable insights while ensuring governance and data quality.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related experience in Data Analytics & Data Management or similar field.
• Bachelor's degree in related field required.
• Knowledge of banking operations and regulatory compliance (entry to intermediate).
• Intermediate experience with data analysis tools (SQL, Excel) and data viz (Tableau, Power BI).
• Experience with project management and prioritizing deliverables.
• Experience presenting findings from large datasets clearly and actionably.
• Experience with predictive modelling, statistics, or machine learning preferred.
• Strong communication skills (oral and written).

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, build, and maintenance of advanced dashboards and reporting tools to monitor key business performance metrics.
• Perform deep-dive analysis on large, complex datasets to extract meaningful insights and provide data-based recommendations.
• Translate business questions into analytical tasks and present findings to senior management and stakeholders.
• Design and implement systems to ensure data accuracy and reliability, and collaborate with IT to improve data infrastructure.
