Job summary

East West Bank is seeking a VP, ITU Data Analytics & Reporting to lead analytics and reporting initiatives that enhance risk-based testing and automation. The role focuses on leveraging AI, automation, and data-driven insights to improve process performance, control design, and monitoring across the organization.

You will own the lifecycle of analytics projects from requirements through design, build, testing, implementation and ongoing enhancement, partnering with Risk, Technology, Data, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (Master's Degree preferred)
• Minimum 8-10 years of related work experience in audit, supervision, risk management or compliance in banking/financial services
• Knowledge of banking operations, products and services; experience with risks and controls in loans, lending, retail banking and digital banking is a big plus
• Understanding of regulatory requirements applicable to Banks (CFPB and FRB)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in reporting, analytics and data management

Responsibilities

• Lead analytics and reporting capabilities to support risk-based reviews, control testing, monitoring and validation activities
• Assist with the AI adoption strategy for the department, identify high-impact use cases and promote innovation
• Develop data-driven approaches to assess process performance, identify control gaps and trends
• Design and implement recurring reports, dashboards and analytical routines to improve testing and monitoring outputs
• Partner with Technology and Data teams to ensure solutions align with data governance and security standards
