Job summary

85°C Bakery Cafe in Farmers Branch, TX is hiring a QA and Control Tech to join the QA/QC team and ensure food safety and quality across production.

You will collaborate with the Chef, Supervisor and Plant Manager to complete daily, weekly and monthly quality checks, report deviations, train staff on HACCP, SOPs, SSOPs and pest control, translate policies, and support customer complaint investigations. Bilingual English/Spanish is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in bakery/food production quality control.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Able to work in cooler and freezer environments.

Responsibilities

• Understand and support daily, weekly, monthly QA/FS checks.
• Report product/process/storage non-compliance and deviations.
• Complete QA/QC daily operation checklists and reports.
• Train staff on HACCP, SOPs, SSOPs, GMPs and pest control.
• Translate QAFS policies between English and Spanish/other languages.
• Assist with customer complaint investigations and audits.
• Perform sensory and microbiological evaluations with documentation.
• Organize retain, shelf-life, and R&D samples.
