Job Details: Level - Experienced. Location - Farmers Branch WH, TX. Position Type - Part Time. Education Level - 2 Year Degree. Salary Range - $17.00 - $23.00 per hour. Job Shift - Any. Category - Restaurant - Food Service.

Responsibilities

• Understand and support daily, weekly, monthly checklist for QAFS policies and procedures.
• Report issues for products, process, and storage if not in compliance, and program deviation.
• Complete the QA/QC daily operation checklist covering processing quality control and quality assurance reports, including food safety, microbial, sanitation, and monitoring as deemed necessary.
• Follow and train production employees to address daily issues such as temperature, sanitation, pest control, specifications, foreign objects, analytical and packaging specs.
• Train and follow employee training tasks regarding HACCP, SOPs, SSOPs, GMPs, pest control, sanitation, lab testing, and recall procedures.
• Translate QAFS policies and procedures between English/Spanish, English/Vietnamese, English/Cambodian, and English/Chinese.
• Participate in problem‑solving sessions for customer complaints and audits.
• Conduct visual, smell, sensory, and microbiological evaluations of products and produce finished product specification reports, temperature records, receiving records, and product quality records.
• Arrange and organize retain samples, shelf‑life samples, R&D samples, product/in‑process samples.
• Work independently and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Act as contact person if other team members are not on duty.

Other Duties

• Read instruments, gauges, and charts.
• Perform simple math calculations.
• Use computers and Microsoft Office products.
• Read thermometer, metric units, use scales, weights, and measuring rulers.
• Use camera and upload USB or memory card to computer.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of production experience in checking quality and quality control in bakery and food production.
• Bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish and/or English/Vietnamese and/or English/Cambodian and/or English/Chinese preferred.
• Ability to work in cooler, freezer, and hot bakery environments.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Physical Requirements

• Stand and/or sit for extended periods.
• Collect samples; may require climbing, stretching, walking, lifting, bending, carrying.
• Move in narrow spaces.
• Moderate lifting up to 50 pounds, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, and use of heavy machinery such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Stand and walk continuously, repetitive hand motions, reaching overhead; exposure to extreme temperatures in coolers and blast freezers.
