Job summary

85°C Bakery Cafe is hiring a QA Supervisor at our Farmers Branch location to oversee QA/QC operations and ensure food safety across production. The role requires leading the QA/QC team, training staff on HACCP/SOPs, and coordinating with production management to address quality issues.

The ideal candidate has a 2-year degree and 3–5 years of bakery quality control experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity. Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Vietnamese is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 year degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in food production quality control in bakery environment.
• At least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish and/or English/Vietnamese (and/or English/Cambodian/Chinese) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee QA/QC daily operations and checklists for consistency with QAFS policies.
• Lead and train production staff on temperature, sanitation, pest control, specs, and packaging.
• Investigate non-conformities and participate in problem-solving sessions for customer complaints.
• Conduct sensory, microbiological evaluations and maintain product quality records.
• Coordinate sample handling, retain and shelf-life samples, and reference reports.
• Read instruments, gauges, and charts; perform basic math and use MS Office.
• Act as on-site contact for QA/QC and participate in internal/external audits.
