Job summary

The Cheesecake Factory Bakery in Rocky Mount, NC seeks a Senior Production Supervisor to lead the Finishing area in a fast-paced, high-volume bakery. You will drive safety, quality, and productivity while developing front-line leaders and shaping continuous improvement initiatives that impact the entire operation.

You will coordinate staffing, workforce planning, and resource management, ensuring smooth production and adherence to cgMP and company policies.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of leadership experience in a food manufacturing environment, preferably bakery/dessert.
• Proven track record coaching and developing supervisors and production teams.
• Experience managing large production teams and multiple supervisors.
• Experience leading operations in high-volume bakery or food manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, CI, and process optimization.
• Familiarity with cGMP, food safety standards, and quality systems.
• Ability to use data, analytics, and performance metrics to drive results.
• Experience applying performance management and operational metrics to drive accountability.

Responsibilities

• Assign staff to processes based on crewing models, skills, and needs.
• Hire, onboard, and develop team members per standards and training.
• Provide workforce planning support to Shift Manager while leading Finishing.
• Manage utilization, workload, attendance, and overtime for efficiency.
• Reallocate labor and adjust priorities to mitigate resource constraints.
• Act as Shift Manager in absence and lead Supervisors and floor teams.
• Champion continuous improvement to enhance safety, quality and productivity.
• Enforce safety standards, report incidents, and ensure cgMP compliance.
• Oversee process optimization, validation, and issue resolution with QA/Engineering.
• Identify strategic process improvements via data and implement changes.
