Job summary

The Cheesecake Factory Bakery is hiring a Sanitation Supervisor in Rocky Mount, NC to oversee daily sanitation, GMP compliance, and pest control across our processing facility. You will lead sanitation programs, mentor staff, and improve safety and quality while supporting audits and regulatory requirements.

3+ years in food sanitation with a science background, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in food sanitation, preferably bakery/dessert or general food manufacturing.
• Strong quantitative skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to think critically.
• Ability to work independently as well as with groups.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to effectively plan, organize and prioritize work.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate all daily sanitation activities within the processing facility.
• Maintain GMP provisions related to cleanliness, food safety, and pest control.
• Aid in administration of biological monitoring procedures to determine efficacy of sanitation methods.
• Maintain supply of cleaning chemicals compliant with FIFRA, OSHA, and FDA regulations.
• Manage operations to maintain high ratings on audits and inspections.
• Develop and implement new methods, procedures, and systems to improve quality and food safety.
• Ensure compliance with safety laws, company safety policies, and standards.
• Verify sanitation documentation, training, and development of the sanitation team; improve processes.
