Fama Technologies Inc. seeks a senior practitioner in the background screening industry for a part-time contract role. You will help product managers sharpen problem definition, challenge reasonable but impractical assumptions, and offer an operator’s perspective without owning roadmaps or delivery.

The role is remote for US-qualified applicants, with 10–15 hours weekly and compensation of $6,000–$9,000 per month at $150/hour. Initial 90-day period with possible extension.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in background screening operations, workflows, and economics.
• Understanding of regulatory landscape, especially FCRA and local laws.
• Operational perspective with ability to critique processes and costs.
• Ability to articulate complex operational realities in writing.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with product managers to define new initiatives and provide candid feedback.
• Provide operator's viewpoint on screening processes, highlighting manual effort and delays.
• Identify compliance and workflow constraints for design considerations.
• Review requirements, specs, and prototypes as the industry expert.
• Explain how screening firms and customers evaluate and purchase new technology.
