Veracity Ventures Inc. is seeking a Senior Backend Internal Tools Software Engineer in the Los Angeles area. The role focuses on building a next-generation internal tools platform with high-performance middleware, APIs, and scalable data architecture.

You will shape architecture, design APIs, and collaborate across business units to consolidate legacy tools. The ideal candidate will lead backend development, architecture decisions, and AI-assisted coding efforts while delivering production-ready

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Extensive experience designing RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Experience with relational DB design, SQL optimization, and data integrity.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools and guidance on code quality.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend systems.
• Build APIs, microservices, middleware, and server-side components.
• Architect and implement high-performance backend services and data models.
• Design and optimize relational schemas and SQL queries.
• Leverage AI coding tools within the development workflow and review AI-generated code.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams in Agile workflows.
• Ensure security, reliability, and maintainability across platforms.
• Strive for continuous improvement of the internal tools platform.
