Acuity is seeking a hybrid on-site/Denver-area Platform Engineer to stand up the internal AI tools, platform, and governance that empower our engineers and product teams. You will blend hands-on software/platform work with a developer-relations mindset, focusing on enabling others as much as building.

Qualifications

• Generalist platform engineer with DevOps/DevEx focus.
• Hands-on with agentic development and orchestration.
• Experience in AI evaluation, benchmarking and prompt engineering.
• Knowledge of AI security and governance for internal tools.
• Proven track record delivering multi-month initiatives independently.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain internal AI productivity tools and platforms.
• Design and operate internal AI agents and automations.
• Define metrics and evaluate tool adoption and impact.
• Lead AI governance: guardrails, access controls, safety standards.
• Collaborate with Security and IT to enable tooling adoption.
• Manage identity/access for AI agents and audit trails.
• Lead training sessions to empower engineers and PMs.
• Drive adoption through measurable outcomes and iteration.
• Partner with product teams as a supporting/accelerating partner.
