Xplor Technologies is seeking a backend platform software engineer to design and build in a multi-tenant SaaS environment. The role emphasizes collaboration in a remote US setting, Python/Django development, and AWS familiarity. You will contribute to scalable systems, stack ownership, and AI-enabled day-to-day work.

Responsibilities include leading design initiatives, troubleshooting defects, and maintaining robust tests while collaborating across time zones.

Qualifications

• Proven experience collaborating in a remote environment.
• Strong Python and Django experience, including REST APIs, models, and migrations.
• Solid PostgreSQL and SQL reasoning skills.
• Experience with multi-tenant SaaS architectures and tenant isolation.
• Git/GitHub with PR-based delivery workflow.
• Docker expertise for local development.
• Willingness to incorporate AI into daily work.
• AWS basics (S3, RDS, containers).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with distributed teammates and cross-functional partners.
• Develop backend with Python, Django, Ember, and PostgreSQL.
• Design well-architected, testable systems following best practices.
• Lead technical design initiatives and drive architecture decisions.
• Troubleshoot and fix software defects.
• Leverage PRs for learning and code quality.
• Share ownership of team dynamics and growth.
