Storm2’s client in New York City is building core backend systems for trading, financing and fund management. You’ll design and implement scalable services, APIs, and event-driven workflows to move money reliably and accurately.

You’ll join a lean, early-stage team with ownership over architectural decisions and end-to-end delivery, tackling hard reliability, data integrity, and performance challenges in a production fintech environment.

Qualifikationen

• Strong backend engineering experience and a track record of designing production systems.
• Depth in at least one of Kotlin, Rust, Java, Go, C/C++, Python, Ruby or TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of API design and event-driven architectures.
• Production experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Experience deploying and operating systems on AWS, GCP or Azure.
• The ability to reason through complicated systems rather than simply implement a predefined spec.
• High ownership and comfort working in an early-stage, in-office environment.

• Building core systems supporting trading, financing and fund management

• Making technical decisions around reliability, data integrity and system design
