Longbridge is hiring a Senior Backend Developer to architect the core infrastructure for our US securities trading platform. You will tackle massive concurrency, ultra-low latency, and reliability challenges at scale.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate complex trading requirements into scalable technical solutions, while continuously refining performance and resilience through monitoring and modern infrastructure practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS/engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of backend development experience.
• Strong CS fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, OS, networking.
• Experience with Rust; Go or C++ acceptable in production.
• Experience with Linux internals, performance profiling, and debugging distributed systems.
• Innovative mindset and fast learner in a rapidly changing tech landscape.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and maintain core infra supporting our US securities trading system.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate trading requirements into scalable solutions.
• Optimize code and architecture for micro‑millisecond latency and high throughput.
• Ensure resilience through monitoring, testing, and robust failover strategies.
• Modernize tech stack and promote best practices in systems programming and IaC.
