The role focuses on owning back-end delivery, leading engineers, and shaping robust, extensible architectures with strong collaboration across product, design, and analytics. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience is required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years designing, developing and launching backend systems at scale with Python or Kotlin.
• Track record of highly available distributed systems using AWS, MySQL and Kubernetes.
• Define a technical plan for delivering significant features with elegant, extensible design.
• Write high quality code that is easily understood and used by others.
• Make significant changes in large code bases with safe, scalable tooling and practices.
• Own growth, seek feedback from team, manager, and stakeholders.
• Strong verbal and written communication for global collaboration.
• Equivalent practical experience or a related Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver quarterly goals for your team.
• Collaborate with product management, design & analytics through the full development lifecycle.
• Proactively identify and solve project, process, tech, or business issues.
• Support operations and availability of team artifacts; monitor metrics and on-call efforts.
• Set and promote code review and design standards beyond the team.
• Develop talent by mentoring and leading by example.
