Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced backend engineer to drive scalable services across CrowdStrike products. You will lead rapid prototyping through large-scale deployments, designing fault-tolerant systems and owning end-to-end delivery.

Expect collaboration across teams, on-call incident response, and mentoring peers in best practices. Candidates should have 5+ years of experience in distributed systems, a CS degree or equivalent, and proficiency in Go/Scala/Java/Node.js/Python.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Degree in Computer Science or commensurate experience in data structures/algorithms/distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead backend engineering efforts from rapid prototypes to large-scale applications.
• Design, develop, document, test, deploy, operate and enhance large-scale, resilient services.
• Take ownership and be accountable for deliverables.
• Work on cross-team platform-level initiatives and projects.
• Troubleshoot production issues during on-call rotations; implement solutions.
• Triage system issues and debug impacts on service operations.
• Mentor other developers on web, backend and data storage technologies.
• Continuously re-evaluate the product to improve architecture and performance.
