Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• Experience designing, developing and launching backend systems at scale.
• Proficient in Python, Kotlin, AWS, MySQL and Kubernetes.
• Experience shipping frontend applications.
• Strong ownership, code quality and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver quarterly goals for your team and lead engineers through ambiguity.
• Collaborate with product, design and analytics to balance constraints and risks.
• Identify and solve project, process, or technology issues.
• Monitor metrics, escalate when needed, and support on-call efforts.
• Set and improve code review and design standards across the team.
• Mentor teammates and lead by example.
• Participate in on-call rotation as a requirement.
