Proficiency in Python, Kotlin, AWS, MySQL and Kubernetes is required, along with frontend shipping experience and a strong ownership mindset.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• Backend design, development and scaling with Python, Kotlin, AWS, MySQL, Kubernetes.
• Experience shipping frontend applications.
• Define technical plans for delivery of large features with simple, extensible design.
• Ability to make significant changes in a large codebase safely.
• Shows ownership and seeks feedback from team and stakeholders.
• Strong verbal and written communication for global collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Own quarterly goals and lead engineers through ambiguity to deliver.
• Collaborate with product management, design and analytics across the lifecycle.
• Identify and drive project, process, technology or business improvements.
• Support operations and on-call efforts by monitoring metrics and escalation.
• Improve code quality and design standards across the team and beyond.
• Provide feedback and guidance to develop talent on the team.
• On-Call Rotation is a requirement for this role.
