Job summary

Quo is redefining enterprise communications by unifying calls, texts, and customer data into an AI-powered platform. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you’ll code, architect, and own complex systems while possibly leading a small team.

You’ll guide design decisions, perform code reviews, and deliver end-to-end projects that scale with a growing user base. You’ll work with a modern stack including Node/TypeScript, Kubernetes on AWS, and event-driven microservices.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Typescript or OO languages such as Java or C# and Javascript/Node.
• Experience with observability tools, including metrics, structured logging and distributed tracing.
• Ability to take ownership, communicate effectively, and empower teammates.
• Curiosity and lifelong learning mindset to understand the why and the how.

Responsibilities

• Code, architect, and own moderate to complex backend components.
• Lead small teams or projects and provide technical guidance.
• Conduct code reviews and design and deliver small/medium size projects end-to-end.
• Collaborate across teams to improve core messaging, calling features, and data visibility.
