Job summary

Mimica, a remote-first company, is building AI-powered process intelligence to automate and optimize work. You will design and implement scalable backend services and APIs powering the Mimica platform, focusing on performance, reliability, and maintainability.

As part of an early engineering team, you will shape technical direction, participate in architectural decisions, and own end-to-end features from development to deployment and monitoring.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of backend software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js.
• Experience building scalable microservices and APIs.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud deployments.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging abilities.
• Fluent English communication in a global team.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable backend systems for the Mimica platform.
• Develop and optimize real-time APIs and services.
• Address performance bottlenecks and reliability concerns.
