Mimica, a scale-up focused on AI-powered process mining, seeks a senior frontend engineer with 8+ years of experience to own features end-to-end. You will work on data-visualisation apps, real-time frontend services, and architecture decisions with a focus on scalability and reliability.

This is a fully remote role spanning Europe/Africa and the Americas, with stock options and a strong emphasis on collaboration.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Software Engineer with high engineering standards.
• Strong experience with React, state management and front-end architecture.
• Deep understanding of front-end performance optimization techniques.
• Knowledge of advanced system design principles, data structures, and data-intensive apps.
• Mention of backend basics like adding API endpoints or changing logic.
• Commitment to clean, testable, modular, well-documented code.
• Experience owning projects end-to-end from design to observability.
• Fluency in English with clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop data-visualisation applications and features for displaying large data properties with scalability in mind.
• Build interfaces and real-time frontend services enabling multi-user graph editing and model retraining via input.
• Own projects end-to-end within small teams, collaborating with team leads and product managers.
• Participate in architectural decisions and document implementations for cross-team improvements.
• Contribute to team and chapter processes, RFCs, code reviews, and coaching peers.
