Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer on the Onboarding team to build backend services powering onboarding and KYC across our products and geographies. This role centers on scalable Golang code and cloud-native architectures.

You will own end-to-end delivery from design through deployment, partner with product, design, and leadership, and drive improvements to onboarding funnels at global scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building, scaling, and maintaining production backend services in a service-oriented architecture.
• Proven track record designing distributed systems that operate reliably at scale, including experience with cloud-native tooling.
• Proficiency in Golang or a similar statically-typed language, with demonstrated ability to write well-tested, production-grade code.
• Experience owning end-to-end delivery of platform capabilities, from technical design through deployment, monitoring, and iteration.

Responsibilities

• Own the design, development, and scaling of backend services in Golang that power onboarding and KYC workflows across multiple products and geographies.
• Build scalable, service-oriented systems using modern cloud infrastructure and industry best practices to solve novel platform challenges.
• Drive improvements to onboarding and MTU conversion funnels by identifying bottlenecks and shipping data-informed solutions.
• Partner with engineers, product managers, designers, and senior leadership to translate product and technical vision into quarterly execution roadmaps.
• Lead cross-cutting design reviews within your product area, ensuring security, operational integrity, and architectural clarity across all features shipped.
