Job summary

Shipcom Wireless, Inc. is seeking an experienced Back-end Developer in Houston to design, build and improve server-side applications for our IoT platform.

You will work with cross-functional teams to define APIs, optimize performance, ensure security, and deliver scalable software across web and cloud environments. A 7+ year track record in enterprise software and strong Node.js/.NET skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or engineering; master’s preferred.
• 7+ years of enterprise software development experience.
• Experience building high-performance, scalable systems.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design and develop software and tools for managing complex business workflows
• Define and develop APIs and integration with third-party apps
• Identify architectural risks and mitigation plans
• Collaborate with frontend developers, DBAs, and other teams to improve code quality
• Design, develop and integrate web APIs
• Ensure security and data protection across platforms
