Event Temple, a Vancouver-based hospitality software company, seeks a Senior Backend Software Engineer focused on integrations to scale our API ecosystem. You will design and implement reliable connections with hotel systems, payment processors, and other external services while improving observability and system reliability.

You will work independently as a senior individual-contributor, owning complex integration problems, and collaborating with partners and internal teams to deliver durable

Competenze

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong backend development experience using Ruby on Rails or another modern server-side framework.
• Experience designing reliable systems for high-volume, multi-tenant applications.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, webhooks, authentication, asynchronous processing, and background jobs.
• Experience with observability practices, including monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting.

• Design, build, and improve connections between Event Temple and hospitality platforms and external services.
• Design and implement reliable, high-performance integrations with third-party APIs.
• Contribute to architectural decisions for our integration ecosystem.
