Job summary

ClickHouse is seeking a backend-focused engineer to own end-to-end integration work for its cloud platform. You will define architecture for auth, identity, multi-tenancy, and data movement, and you’ll own deployment, CI, and observability.

You’ll work with partner platforms and internal teams to unblock progress and set the technical direction. You should be comfortable shipping in ambiguity, know how to navigate imperfect docs and breaking changes, and collaborate across teams to deliver

Qualifications

• 5+ years building software, with data-heavy or integration-focused systems.
• Solid backend and systems instincts: deployment topology, multi-tenancy, data movement.
• Experience with modern auth protocols and identity federation.
• Experience building on third-party platforms with limited docs and updates.
• Comfort in ambiguity and shipping before specs are complete.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end integration design, code, and production system.
• Manage architecture: auth/identity flows, multi-tenancy, data movement, performance.
• Own deployment, CI, observability, and on-call for your work.
• Collaborate with internal teams to define interfaces and unblock progress.
• Contribute technical direction and write design docs.
