Job summary

X-Team is seeking a senior backend engineer for a contractor role focused on building and operating complex integrations with construction ERPs, Microsoft and Google ecosystems, and identity systems. You will own end-to-end integration design, data mapping, and resilient, queue-driven processing using Node.js and TypeScript.

You will work directly with customers and partners, applying an AI-assisted workflow to move faster while upholding high-quality standards.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering with strong backend ownership.
• Designed and owned complex third-party integrations beyond standard SaaS APIs.
• Experience with OAuth 2.0/OpenID Connect, REST APIs, webhooks, and token lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and run integrations with ERP, cloud ecosystems, email/calendar, and identity systems.
• Implement bidirectional data sync, field mapping, queue-driven processing, and failure recovery.
• Collaborate directly with customers and partners; apply AI-assisted engineering to improve delivery without compromising quality.
