Job summary

Horizon3 is seeking a senior software engineer to help shape the core Horizon3 NodeZero platform. You will own significant pieces of backend infrastructure, drive multi-tenant architecture, and mentor others in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.

This role emphasizes design quality, test coverage, observability, and collaboration with adjacent teams such as Pentest Data Platform and Platform Integration to ensure secure, scalable entitlement and authentication across the service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE or related field.
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience building production applications on cloud platforms using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience building multi-tenant SaaS platforms with strong tenant isolation and access controls.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend services for licensing, entitlements, feature access, usage limits, and packaging rules across NodeZero.
• Develop provisioning and onboarding workflows with automatic activation of customers.
• Build admin experience infrastructure with RBAC and multi-tenant account management.
• Create MSP/MSSP capabilities, including usage visibility and reporting workflows.
• Implement audit logging and event history for compliance and support.
• Develop the notifications platform for transactional communications and product announcements.
• Operate services in production with monitoring, runbooks, and incident response.
• Contribute production code with high design quality, test coverage, and observability.
• Collaborate with Pentest Data Platform and Platform Integration teams to ensure consistent entitlement and access rules.
