Job summary

Horizon3, a remote cybersecurity company, is seeking a senior software engineer to join the Platform Integration Team (PIT Crew). You will own major portions of the NodeZero platform, evolving the API platform and integration routing while integrating with tools like CrowdStrike, Splunk, ServiceNow, Jira, and more.

You will lead through technical judgment, mentor teammates, and ensure production reliability across US, EU, and Australia environments with on-call responsibilities and strong

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience building production applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Expert proficiency in SQL and graph databases (PostgreSQL, Neo4j).
• Hands-on experience with GraphQL backends and federated architectures.
• Experience designing and operating public API platforms with multi-tenant access.
• Experience integrating with security/IT platforms (SIEM/EDR/ticketing).
• Production observability and on-call ownership.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend APIs in GraphQL, including federated subgraphs and multi-account scoping.
• Build and extend the Integration Router with connector libraries and workflow configuration.
• Own production reliability for API and integration services: monitoring, alerting, deployment, drift handling.
• Contribute to MCP platform and OAuth proxy features.
• Collaborate with frontend, product, and security teams to deliver integrated customer experiences.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers as the team scales.
