Job summary

Horizon3 is seeking a senior software engineer to join the Platform Integration Team. You will evolve our GraphQL-based API platform, build a reusable Integration Router, and maintain security-tool integrations across SIEM, EDR, and ticketing ecosystems. You will mentor engineers and share on-call responsibilities for production systems.

You will collaborate with product and security teams and help expand MCP functionality while enabling customers to build AI-powered workflows atop NodeZero data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of professional software engineering using modern languages (Python, Go, TS, Java, Scala, C++, etc.).
• Experience building production apps on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) using Docker and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend APIs in GraphQL with federation and multi-account scoping.
• Build and extend an Integration Router with connector libraries and workflow config.
• Own production reliability for API and integration services including observability and fail-safety.
• Contribute to MCP platform and OAuth proxy layers with secure identity patterns.
• Collaborate with frontend, product, and security teams to deliver integrated experiences.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers as the team scales.
• Share on-call responsibility for production-observability footprint.
