Offchain is building the Arbitrum stack to power scalable Ethereum infrastructure and drive the next generation of decentralized applications. We’re seeking a strong backend engineer focused on Go, security‑first design, and distributed systems to own production services, cryptographic recovery, and policy‑driven signing at scale.

You’ll work with Kubernetes, TEEs, and multi‑party key management in a fast‑moving, remote‑first environment.

Qualifications

• Proven backend experience shipping production services in Go or similar systems language.
• Security-focused mindset with threat modeling and secure coding practices.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and API design principles.
• Operational familiarity with Kubernetes, observability, and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Build and own Go backend services and cryptographic recovery/modeling components for the KMS.
• Develop security‑critical infrastructure with external audits and high review standards.
• Scale wallet creation, authentication, and signing at velocity.
• Integrate with authentication providers (passkeys/WebAuthn, OAuth, OTP, sessions).
• Collaborate on design docs, decision records, and security remediation with auditors.
