Job summary

Forta is seeking a Backend Developer to join our engineering team in a fully remote capacity. You will design and implement backend components in Go and Solidity, build services for the OP Stack/Arbitrum ecosystem, and collaborate with the team to deliver secure, high-performance solutions.

You will engage in performance profiling, security practices, and on-call responsibilities while contributing to a growing blockchain-focused platform.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Ethereum and EVM.
• Experience with Go and Solidity.
• Experience with AWS services (CloudWatch, DynamoDB, ECS).
• Docker, ECS and Terraform experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end backend projects with design docs and implementation.
• Build sequencer-adjacent services and chain integrations (OP Stack/Arbitrum).
• Profile performance and optimize data-paths and caches.
• Prioritize security with threat modeling and IAM practices.
• Participate in on-call, incident response, and runbooks.
