Job summary

Offchain, a leader in Ethereum scalability, is seeking a backend engineer to own Go services for wallet creation, authentication, and signing at scale. You will implement non‑custodial custody, distributed key generation, and secure recovery with a high‑review, security‑minded approach.

You'll work on authentication and signing provider integration, TEEs, and policy-driven workflows, while operating production systems on Kubernetes with strong observability and incident readiness.

Qualifications

• Backend engineer with production Go experience and security‑focused mindset.
• Experience reasoning about threat models, key custody and secure design.
• Solid knowledge of distributed systems, APIs and fault handling.

Responsibilities

• Build Go backend services for wallet creation, auth and signing at scale.
• Implement key recovery and the distributed trust model with committees.
• Work with TEEs and attestation, and integrate with a signing provider.
• Contribute to security reviews, design docs and external audits.
• Operate production services on Kubernetes with observability and on‑call readiness.
