Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a senior backend engineer to design and maintain scalable services for order routing, fulfillment tracking, and shopper compensation. You will lead technical design for high-impact projects and translate complex logistics challenges into production-ready solutions.

Responsibilities include building features to improve efficiency, reliability, and customer experience, while mentoring engineers and promoting strong operational practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional backend development.
• Proficiency in Ruby, Python or Go.
• Strong API and distributed systems design.
• Experience with asynchronous event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools.
• Degree in CS/SE or equivalent experience.
• Experience in fulfillment, logistics, or e-commerce is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend apps and services.
• Lead technical design for high-impact logistics projects.
• Develop features to improve fulfillment efficiency and performance.
• Ensure Tier-0 systems are reliable, observable, and well-owned.
• Promote platform engineering best practices with stakeholders.
• Incorporate AI-assisted tools to boost productivity.
