Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend development experience.
• Fluency in at least one backend language (Ruby, Python, Go).
• Strong knowledge of services/API design and system design patterns.
• Experience with asynchronous, event-driven systems in production.
• Excellent communication skills in cross-functional environments.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Fulfillment to join the team of a leader in the Consumer Technology space.

This role will focus on building and strengthening the backend systems that support fulfillment operations at scale. You will architect reliable services that power routing, tracking, and core logistics workflows while helping ensure these systems perform consistently in a high-volume environment. The position also partners closely with cross-functional stakeholders to drive strong technical design, platform discipline, and practical use of AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $168,000 – $177,500 annually
