Unify is hiring a Senior Backend Software Engineer to scale our AI-native outbound platform. You will partner with the founders to shape the technical vision, set engineering standards, and drive core infrastructure improvements.

You’ll lead efforts to scale databases, integrate new technologies, and mentor engineers while delivering high-impact systems for customers in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software-engineering experience.
• Deep, hands-on expertise scaling databases and backend systems.
• Experience shipping production-grade systems at scale.
• Mentored engineers and led teams to improve skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Scale Unify to support hyper growth and large-scale customers.
• Translate business goals into a clear engineering plan with Product/Design/GTm.
• Set engineering standards: CI/CD, testing strategy, observability, reliability.
• Prototype rapidly with third-party APIs and model-serving platforms.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship across domains.
