Job summary

Coinbase is seeking a Senior Software Engineer on the Financing Engineering team to design, build, and scale backend services that manage billions of dollars in loans across Portfolio Margin, Trade Finance, Agency Lending, and more. You’ll own architecture through production, delivering high-value lending operations at speed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend software engineering experience with ownership of high-reliability services.
• Proven experience designing, building and scaling service-oriented backends.
• Familiarity with cloud-native environments and data integrity concerns.

Responsibilities

• Own the design and delivery of financing products from architecture to production launch.
• Build and maintain backend services, APIs, and frameworks for loan lifecycle management.
• Improve tooling, testing, monitoring, and reliability across financing systems.
• Collaborate with Product, Risk, Operations, and other teams to translate requirements.
• Lead initiatives that strengthen system resilience and safe speed of shipping.
